For the release date of 7/28 there was only two Blu-rays of interest released. One from Scream Factory and one from Kino Lorber's Redemption line. Here they are:
The first or two releases of interest for this week comes from Scream Factory, the release is Ghost Town. The story of the film follows a local sheriff as he is on the look for a missing woman and then stumbles across a town that is inhabited by ghosts. There is one particular ghost who has put himself in charge of the town. The sheriff has to stop this evil self imposed leader in order to set the suffering undead towns folk free. This film is a mix of fantasy and horror that looks to be an all around good time.

The last of two Blu-ray releases of interest for this week comes from Kino Lorber's Redemption line and is The Erotic Rites of Frankenstein directed by Jess Franco. This different look at the Frankenstein story done by Jess Franco contains all of his film trademarks, violence, sex, and sleaze. The basic storyline of the film is that after the death of Victor Frankenstein two people, the scientist's daughter and a wizard, try to gain control of his monstrous creation and the technology that created it. Overall the title of the film gives about everything you need to know about the film. Most likely to appeal to fans of Jess Franco and fans of his types of films.
