For the release date of 7/14/15 there was 5 Blu-rays of interest released. Three from Scream Factory, one from Arrow Video, and one fro Anchor Bay. Here they are:
The first Blu-ray release of interest this week is Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf. This release is the first of three Blu-ray releases from Scream Factory today. The Howling II follows the bother of the newscaster in the first film (you transformed and died on tv) and a mysterious man with information on the werewolves who must travel to Transylvania to destroy Stirba, the werewolf queen, before her all her powers are restored. This is a very polarizing film it seems. There are people that love its craziness and others that hate the film because it is a bad movie. Either way this film is worth checking out to see for yourself which side you lean toward.

The second Blu-ray release and first of two Double Feature releases from Scream Factory today. This Double Feature release contains two films that were previously released by Scream Factory on Dvd in 4-pack releases called All Night Horror Marathon. The films in this Double Feature Blu-ray release are The Outing and The Godsend. The Outing is about an ancient genie that is released from a lamp and quickly kills the people who accidentally let him out. The lamp is then sent to a museum where the genie possesses a woman and has her invite people to stay the night at the museum. The Godsend is about an abandoned baby left at a family's house and the family decides to take care of the baby. The family loves the new addition but eventually the other children in the family begin to die and suspicion turns to the adopted kid.

The last Blu-ray release from Scream Factory today, as well as the second Double Feature, is the Blu-ray Double Feature of Cellar Dweller and Catacombs. Like the other double feature released by Scream Factory today, this release contains two films that were previously released on Dvd in a 4-pack by Scream Factory under the All Night Horror Marathon banner. Cellar Dweller is about a horror comic book artist's creations coming to life, eventually killing him and years later terrorizing the art students who now go to school at the artists old art studio. Catacombs is about the Beast of Apocalypse found under a monastery and released, leading to people trying to find a way to stop it. Overall these two films are decent b-movies that will likely to appeal to most fans of these types of films.

This week features a big release from Arrow Video, Stray Cat Rock. This limited edition boxset is limited to 3,000 copies and contains five films, Delinquent Girl Boss, Wild Jumbo, Sex Hunter, Machine Animal, and Beat '71. These films are supposed to be fun, action packed films filled with tough talk, chase scenes, and fights. These girl biker gang exploitation films look to be real cool and definitely worth checking out, especially with the nicely made limited edition boxset from Arrow Video.

The last Blu-ray release of interest this week is It Follows. The film comes to Blu-ray riding on a wave of positive buzz. The abundance of positive buzz for this film alone warrants a watch. The story of the film is about Jay who becomes plagued by a constant sense that someone or something is following her. This feeling began and never left since a recent sexual encounter. Overall an interesting film that it worth seeing to at least see if the hype for the film is reasonable.
