Scream Factory And Other Blu-ray News + Tidbits 6/4/15 - 6/11/15



This week was a rather big week for Blu-ray news. A few big releases came out this last week, some cool new titles were announced, and a whole lot of other various updates. Check out all of the cool news and tidbits below:


News:

Scream Factory appeared on the latest Killer POV podcast and discussed the company and their releases. They also announced the Larry Fessenden Boxset. For more info on the boxset and 22 other things we learned from the interview Check Here

Scream Factory has announced the Blu-ray release of The Return of Count Yorga. The details can be found Here.

Scream Factory has revealed the final list of extras for their Collector's Edition Blu-ray release of The People Under the Stairs. The full list can be found Here.

Scream Factory has also revealed the final list of extras for their release of Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead. The full list can be found Here.

Arrow Video has announced the Blu-ray release of The Mutilator. All the details can be found Here.

Tidbits:

-Arrow Video mentioned that there was two more U.S. titles that were planning to announce this past week but they were not ready. It wasn't said when these would be announced. Also it is possible that if these are two U.S. only titles then they are likely titles that Arrow has already released U.K. versions for.

-Scream Factory is having trouble with some of the film elements for Jack's Back but they are trying to resolve them quickly. As a result the release date of this title is up in the air.

-The Scream Factory Blu-ray of Ghost Town will have no extras, but it will have a new HD transfer.

-Answers to some title requests from fans:

  • Scream Factory has no plans to release the Teen Wolf films.
