Scream Factory And Other Blu-ray News + Tidbits 2/11/15 - 2/18/15

This last week has been a huge Blu-ray news week. A whole bunch of title announcements from Scream Factory and Arrow Video. As well a bunch of updates from Scream Factory. Also a new release from Scream Factory this week. So lets get on to all the news, there's a lot!



News:

Last  Friday Scream Factory celebrated Friday the 13th by giving updates and announcements throughout the morning. Overall they announced two new titles. The first announced title was a Double Feature Blu-ray containing Ghosthouse and Witchery. For more details on the release go Here.

The second title Scream Factory announced was I, Madman. The Blu-ray will be released sometime this year. Check Here for more information on the release.

Scream Factory unveiled the newly commissioned artwork for their Collector's Edition releases of Sleepaway Camp II & Sleepaway Camp III. Check them out Here.

Scream Factory announced the final list of extras for their Collector's Edition release of Class of 1984. Check out the full list Here.

Scream Factory announced extras for two of their Double Feature Blu-rays, The Food of the Gods / Frogs and Empire of the Ants / Jaws of Satan. Check out the extras Here.

Arrow Video also had a big week of news themselves. This last week they announced the titles they will be releasing in May and, unexpectedly, they also announced the titles they will be releasing in June. For the May title check Here. For the June titles check Here.

The last bit of news is the release of the The Phantom Of The Opera [Blu-ray] from Scream Factory.

Tidbits:

-Scream Factory hopes to repeat this last round of Friday the 13th updates and announcements next Friday the 13th in March. However, it is dependent on if they have enough news saved up until then.

-Answers to some title requests by fans:

• There are no plans from Scream Factory to release One Dark Night aka Mausoleum, but they wish they could.
• Scream Factory has no plans at this time for Highway to Hell.
• It is unlikely at this time that Arrow Video will release The Burbs' in the U.S.
• Arrow Video doesn't have plans at this time to release Begotten.
